The web log uses your browser's on-device database. Native apps use on-device storage. Your records are never copied to a TuzzMiles trip server.
TuzzMiles does not operate a trip server. No TuzzMiles account is required, and we do not show ads or add third-party analytics. You can protect the log with a recovery copy or your device platform backup.

There is no TuzzMiles login database. Recovery uses a file or the backup service you already control, without creating another location account.
We do not include third-party advertising, behavioral analytics, or crash reporting SDKs in the product.
Exports and recovery copies leave the product only when you choose where to save or send them. They contain private records, so store them carefully.
Drive records, import files, classifications, and settings are processed in your browser. Records persist in IndexedDB on this device. The product does not send the contents to us. You can download a recovery copy containing the records and settings, then save it in a private location you control. Standard web hosting logs may temporarily contain technical request details such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp. They do not contain your mileage log.
Automatic detection requires location and motion permissions. Those signals are processed to create trip records on your phone. On iOS, trip records may be included in your user-controlled encrypted Apple device backup. On Android, the trip database and route points may be included in encrypted Google device backup or direct device transfer. Preferences, purchase state, and quota safeguards stay excluded. Platform recovery is best-effort and subject to each platform's account, size, device, and restore rules. If you request readable place names, Apple or Google may receive coordinates. If you request missed-drive route repair on iOS, Apple Maps may receive the places or coordinates you provide. Platform privacy terms apply to those requests.
Apple or Google processes native app purchases. We receive confirmation of the product entitlement, not your full payment card details. Platform terms and privacy policies apply.
You can export your complete log at any time. In the web log, Settings can download or restore a private recovery copy. You can delete individual drives or clear all local web data. A stolen or damaged device, removed browser data, or an uninstalled app may erase records that you have not protected with a recovery copy or supported platform backup.
Questions about this promise can be sent to [email protected]. We will update the date above when the privacy model changes.
